“My wife and I stayed at the Wuksachi Lodge during our winter visit to Sequoia Park for some snowshoeing. The lodge was quiet and peaceful. The food at the restaurant was good, I recommend the quesadilla with steak. The Deluxe room was clean and plenty big for 2 people and all our winter gear. The drives to the trail heads were simple and short. The forest was awe inspiring. We can't wait to come back in the Spring and enjoy some of the same trails without the knee deep snow."

“We have been coming up to Wuksachi for multi-day cross country snow shoe and ski trips ever since it opened and the facilities and staff are first class, with a 5 star restaurant. Can't beat the rates, and the views from the lodge buildings are spectacular. We'll be back in late February, 2009 for more adventure. If you want to cross country ski or snow shoe to awesome vistas and through the Giant Sequoia trees, then this is the place you need to be.”

"Location, location, location has this lodging the choice over all others. The lodge is located in the midst of the giant Sequoias and if your spending more than one day and not interested in traveling an hour back and forth to another facility this is the place to be. The facilities are comfortable, the service was great. We were fortunate enough to run into a server named Roberto who was magnificent during meals. He had a permanent smile on his face, a 'can do' attitude, seemed to take pride in what he did and was helpful in every way. Recommend staying and enjoying what it has to offer (and be sure to get seated at Roberto's tables!)"

“What a gem! Very friendly service at all meals; welcoming front desk staff. Loved the setting and the quality of the facilities. Seems also "eco-friendly" which is important in such an environment. The wireless internet in the lounge was an unexpected plus! We've already recommended it to friends and we'll be back!”

"Ilia at the front desk was great, the guy who shuttled us from the main lodge to the other building was also very nice and helpful and timely. The tour was great the guide (Paul) was great. We had a wonderful day at the park and the room was clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant breakfast and dinner were very good. I would go back to Wuksachi without hesitation."

"After the Zig Zag into the park it was nice to find a wonderful hotel. It was ideally located as a center point to visit. It was centrally located to all of the main attractions of the park, a great place to end the days adventures in having a good meal, and a wonderful place to stay. Love the Old Sequoias, WOW!"

"We love coming to Sequoia National Park in the winter. The room rates, gorgeous location, and the fact that it is not crowded are what attract us. We travel from San Clemente, and pass other mountain resorts along the way, but go the extra distance to enjoy the National Park. I recommend the Wuksachi Lodge to everyone!"

"The food for dinner was excellent. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the two-tier pricing. The bar fixed us delicious virgin margaritas. Due to the snow, the trek to our room gave us some exercise. However, the desk staff offered us luggage help to the room."

"We had a great experience with the restaurant manager, whose name I don't know. We arrived on the Sunday of Presidents Day Weekend and hadn't made a reservation for dinner. She couldn't put us in any earlier than 9:15, but said she'd call our room if there was a cancellation. Sure enough, we were seated at 7:15. We really appreciated her effort and helpfulness."

"Wonderful place - we love to experience winter here. The food is much better than it needs to be, since it's the only restaurant available, and the staff is friendly and very sweet. This is one of our favorite places to visit. Our son liked it better than his trip to the Four Seasons at Avaira with his cousins earlier this year! He thought the service and food were both better! The winter deals on hotel rooms are great."

"The lodge is lovely and such a great deal during the winter. We regularly go to Yosemite and stay at the Lodge or the Ahwahnee. This was a very nice surprise and we were very happy with our room and the restaurant. We will be back in the spring or fall!"

"Thought the value and quality were top of the line. It was a great place to stay, and I already recommended to several collegues and families I work with through my career. What an amazing hideaway - especially in winter. And despite the major snowfall, we had no trouble getting to the lodge. Someone even offered to help with our luggage in the ice and slush!"

"The housekeeping service was very helpful and kind. They even left our baby daughter's dolls on the pillows to greet her every night! The people at the front desk were very helpful and well informed. The restaurant workers were also excellent. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We loved having Roberto as our waiter several times during our stay. All the wait staff was excellent and the food delicious. Roberto took care of us at least three times and made us feel very much at home."
