Boyden Cave Kings Canyon

Boyden Cave

Located roughly halfway between the Grant Grove and Cedar Grove sections of Kings Canyon National Park, Boyden Cave is a massive underground cavern featuring beautiful geological formations.  Daily tours are offered during the summer months and showcase some of the cave's most impressive features such as The Drapery Room, The Pancake Room, The Upside Down City, and The Bat Grotto.  The inside of Boyden Cave stays a constant 55°F so a sweater or light jacket are recommended.  Tickets can be purchased at the cave itself.  For more information, call 559-338-0959 or email boydencavern@gmail.com.

Testimonials

“We brought our daughters and their families (10 of us) to Sequoia and stayed at the Wuksachi Lodge.  We had a wonderful time.  The staff was friendly and helpful.  The rooms were clean.  We ate several meals at the Lodge and everyone enjoyed them.  I have recommended Wuksachi to family and friends.  Hopefully we can go back in Summer to see more of the forest since some areas were closed for the winter.”
